Fang Cheng Bao, BYD's dedicated crossover brand, opened nationwide customer registration for the Ti9 flagship on September 29, 2026. General Manager Xiong Tianbo confirmed that production units are already reaching distribution channels, with automotive hauliers beginning transport of the six-seat plug-in hybrid to the brand's direct-sales showrooms across China from September 28. Fourth-quarter deliveries are anticipated.
The Ti9 features a high-strength monocoque unibody structure measuring 5,270 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,850 mm in height, accommodating three rows of seats in a 2+2+2 layout. Curb weight ranges from 2,865 kg to 2,965 kg, with a gross vehicle weight rating of 3,495 kg and a 3,130 mm wheelbase.
The vehicle debuts BYD's DMS hybrid architecture, pairing a 1.5-litre turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 115 kW with dual 200 kW electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles, delivering combined electric output of 400 kW. A 66.48 kWh LFP battery supplied by BYD's FinDreams subsidiary powers the drivetrain and supports Flash Charging functionality. Under WLTC testing conditions, the Ti9 achieves 310 km of pure-electric range. The chassis incorporates active rear-wheel steering, an Intelligent All-Terrain Sensing system, tire-blowout stabilisation control, and front six-piston fixed brake calipers.
BYD's roof-mounted LiDAR sensor supports the DiPilot 300 driver-assistance suite, while two-way satellite communication is integrated into the vehicle. The cabin seats six occupants across three rows using a 2+2+2 arrangement. Front passenger and second-row captain's seats feature automated Cradle Mode for reclined rest positions. A 30-inch integrated panoramic display serves the front row, and a 21.4-inch ceiling-mounted fold-down screen provides rear-seat entertainment. The cargo area uses an electrically operated horizontally split tailgate, with its lower section forming a reinforced bench rated for 300 kg static loading. Trim specifications and final pricing will be announced closer to fourth-quarter deliveries.
