EV Gulf (evgulf.com) is a Gulf EV platform combining a car guide, a classifieds marketplace, auctions, and an owners' community. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the platform, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have over it.
Account data: your email and/or phone number, username, and country when you create an account, plus related verification data.
Profile & activity data: your car and garage, your reviews and community posts, and the content of listings you publish (vehicle details, photos, price, and the contact method you choose to publish).
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and an approximate country derived from your IP to show your local market.
Operating the platform: creating your account, displaying your listings and posts, and powering features like the garage, auctions, and alerts.
Safety & verification: verifying contact details, preventing fraud and abusive accounts, and enforcing the Terms of Use.
Communicating with you: transactional messages (account confirmation, listing status, auction outcomes) and essential service notices.
Improvement: understanding platform usage in aggregate to develop features and content.
We use essential cookies to run your session, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences (language and chosen country). We do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you off the platform.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features — such as sign-in — will not work without them.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We share the minimum necessary with service providers who run the platform (hosting, database, email) under confidentiality obligations.
Whatever you publish publicly — such as your phone or WhatsApp number inside a listing — is visible to platform visitors and is removed when the listing expires or is deleted.
We may disclose specific data when required by a competent judicial authority under the law.
Our platform connects seller and buyer directly. Any contact made through the number you publish in your listing happens off-platform and at your own responsibility — we never share your number unless you publish it yourself.
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request an export of your data or deletion of your account and its associated data at any time via the email below; we may retain limited records where the law or fraud prevention requires it.
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, and to object to certain uses of it. Email us below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
We apply technical and organizational controls to protect your data (encrypted connections, restricted access). No system is 100% secure — tell us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.
The platform is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page with its revision date. Continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept the new version.
