Xiaomi Launches Skynomad N90 Max with Native Electric Pop-Up Roof for Camping

The Skynomad N90 Max showcases advanced design specifications, featuring "Dragonfly" headlights with cross-shaped architecture and extended daytime running lights delivering 624 metres of high-beam range and 180-degree wide-angle low-beam coverage. Measuring 5,285mm in length, 1,998mm in width, and 1,825mm in height with a 3,080mm wheelbase, the vehicle achieves a drag coefficient of 0.255 and supports fording to 750mm depth with emergency floating capabilities.

The cabin offers three décor themes—Ceramic Beige, Midnight Black, and Mocha Brown—centered on a 16.1-inch infotainment display running HyperOS and Qualcomm 8650 chipset. The 2+2+3 seating configuration provides 11 spatial layouts and 1,831 litres of maximum storage. Front and second-row seats include zero-gravity options with massage, ventilation, and heating, while a rail-mounted central island includes a 9-litre compressor refrigerator.

Powertrain architecture pairs a 1.5T range extender with dual motors: the thermal engine produces 112 kW, the front motor 210 kW, and the rear motor 100 kW. A 76 kWh NCM battery pack delivers 464 kilometres pure electric range (CLTC) and 1,705 kilometres combined range. Fast charging adds 285 kilometres in 15 minutes, with WLTC consumption of 6.26 litres per 100 kilometres in depleted-battery mode.

Safety architecture incorporates a 2,200 MPa embedded roll cage and 12 airbags. Autonomous driving relies on Nvidia Thor's 700 TOPS processing and Xiaomi's HAD XLA cognitive model. Hardware includes roof-mounted LiDAR, rear solid-state LiDAR, 4D millimetre-wave radar, 11 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars supporting highway and urban navigation assistance plus autonomous valet parking. Suspension combines front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link independent geometry with five-level adjustable air suspension.
